W.Bro Lionel Minter was initiated  in to the Sale and Sele Lodge No:1973 on the 15th April 1987, passed to the second degree on the 16th March 1988 and raised to the third degree on the 20th April 1988.

Lionel served in the progressive offices of this Lodge until he reached the Masters Chair on the 17th October 1998. He served a further year as the Worshipful Master from May 2005.

Lionel was honoured with the Provincial Rank of PPrGStb in the Province of West Kent in May 2005 and was further honoured with the rank of PPrJGD in the Province of East Kent in April 2017.

Lionel joined the Septem Lodge on the 11th January 1992 and served this Lodge for many years as the Treasurer. For his service to this Lodge he was made an honorary member on the 8th January 2022.

He is a retired Garage Owner.
