There are usually four support officers who make up the ‘unofficial support team’. The Almoner, the Secretary, the Mentor and the Membership Officer. 

The Membership Officer has recently become a ‘Collared Office’ within a Lodge and he is just as important as the other 3 in the support team. These four officers all work together on behalf of the Lodge, for the benefit of the brethren.
