Immediate Past Master
The office of Immediate Past Master is not one of appointment, it is one of progression. He was the Worshipful Master before the current Master and thereby occupies the position as a result.
His duty is to give advice and help to the Worshipful Master whenver he is called on for that assistance. From a practical point of view, you will see him give the occasional prompt to the Worshipful Master when his memory temporarily fails him during the delivery of his ritual.
W. Bro Chris Tooth currently occupies the office of Immediate Past Master.
W. Bro Chris was initiated in to the Septem Lodge on the 9th September 2006, passed to the 2nd Degree on the 10th March 2007 and raised to the 3rd Degree on the 10th March 2007. He was appointed as a Steward of the Lodge in May 2007 and was content to stay in that role until May 2013 when he accepted the office of Inner Guard.
He progressed through the various offices until he became the Worshipful Master in May 2018
