W.Bro David was initiated in to the Septem Lodge on the 13th  March 2010, passed on the 23rd April 2010 and raised on the 13th November 2010.

W.Bro David was appointed as a Steward of the Lodge on the 14th May 2011, progressing through the different offices each year until he became the Worshipful Master on the 14th May 2016. He has also held the position of Library and Museum Ambassador for the Lodge.

He is unusual in that he came to this Lodge as a referral from the ‘Just Ask One’ source and was not known to any member of the Lodge prior to joining. As with any member W.Bro Dave went through the normal process and a proposer and seconder was easily found for him. He very quickly established himself as a valued member of the Lodge, and progressed quickly. He has a genuine enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge and genuinely wanted to get on. The second unuual fact is that W.Bro David was passed to the 2nd Degree in a courtesy working buy the Dover Castle Lodge No:7202. This was done because it helped the Septem Lodge out and enabled W.Bro David to progress through his degrees quickly.

W.Bro David has become a joining member of the Entente Cordiale Lodge No:9657, the Cornwallis Lodge of Installed Masters No:9515 and the Bank of England Lodge No:263. He has reached the chair in two of these Lodges, Bank of England and Entente Cordiale.

As you can imagine W.Bro David is a very busy man with his Freemasonry but he manages to fit this around his occupation of an Area Manager for a Car Wash Company.
