I have been happily married to Lee for 30 years.

Prior to this I was married for 16 years and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren from this previous marriage.

I joined the Masons in 2015. Having been asked a number of times in the past, I felt I now had enough time to contribute fully, and being able to give something back through the Masons charitable efforts was extremely important to me.

I have now reached the heady heights of Master of the Lodge and am looking forward to progressing further in my Masonic Career. Having seen and enjoyed Masonry and all that it has to offer, I wish I had started much earlier.

I have had a varied work life, starting with accounts work in London as a 16year old, then 10 years in Banking followed by 5 years in finance control in the Amusement industry. I then embarked on 15 years of buying, building up and selling Sandwich Bars. Finally I turned a hobby into a business, doing Internal building work until my retirement.

My retirement so far has consisted of redeveloping our home on our move to Broadstairs, plus some work mainly for friends and supporting our ageing Parents.

I never seem to have time for hobbies, slowing down has always been a problem for me, so Masonry has added a new dimension to my life together with new friends and I am grateful for that.
