Bro. H R J H
Bro. H R J H, has chosen not to have his full name published at this time for his own reasons and we are happy with that decision, Freemasons have their own choices.
He is a married man who had an interest in Freemasonry which was reinforced whilst he was holidaying in Cuba, where he met a number of Freemasons who showed him around a Freemasons building in Cuba.
He was so impressed with the friendship and hospitality he was shown in a country where he was not known, he felt that he had been given enough information to find out more and so on his return home he decided to explore the possibility of joining Freemasonry. This led to him being initiated in to Lodge 50 Spinoza in the Regular Grand Lodge of Belgium (RGLB) in 2014.
He then attended some of the Spinoza trips to other countries with some of the brethren of his Mother Lodge, one of which was to the United Kingdom where on their way home a request had been made to be able to visit a Lodge Meeting on a Saturday. Needless to say, a great relationship was formed with the Brethren of the Septem Lodge No:7788 and has culminated in the Members of both Lodges attending each others installation meetings every year since 2015. He liked the Septem Lodge so much that he decided he would like to join the Septem and did so on the 9th September 2017. He attends all of the Septem Meetings and as many of the social occasions as he can regularly making the trip over from Belgium to the UK.
He graduated from University as an Horticultural Engineer, starting work as a Sales Representative and Technical Consultant for Plant Seeds and Technical fabrics for greenhouses. After a couple of years he became the Environmental Coordinator for an AC production plant. Since 2007 he became the safety, quality environment and health (SQEH) officer and Technical Director for a hotel and campground chain.
His hobbies besides Freemasonry include Travelling, Photography and the finer things in life like Belgian Beers, Whisky and Fine Cigars.
