Director of Ceremonies
The duties of the Director of Ceremonies include; seeing that the Ceremonies of the Lodge are carried out with propriety and decorum, to see that the Visitors and Brethren are placed according to their rank and that the Officers of the Lodge are in their respective stations.

The Current Director of Ceremonies is W.Bro Peter Sparrow PProvGStwd who took up the post in May 2022, he was initiated in to the Septem Lodge on the 13th September 2008, passed to the 2nd Degree on the 10th January 2009 and raised to the 3rd Degree on the 14th March 2009.
W.Bro Peter started on the progression ladder at the very next meeting after being raised by being appointed to the office of Inner Guard, he progressed through the various offices and became the Worshipful Master of the Lodge on the 10th May 2014. After his year as the IPM, W.Bro Peter served the Lodge in the offices of Chaplain and Charity Steward.
On the 29th February 2016, W.Bro Peter became a Founding member of the Spirit of Rugby Lodge No:9922.
In April 2018, W.Bro Peter was honoured to be appointed as an Active Provincial Grand Steward by the Province of East Kent, he enjoyed his two years in the role of an active Steward and especially the visits accompanying distinguished visitors on their offical visits to all corners of the Province.
W.Bro Peter is a self employed printer and supplier of all types of prmotional goods to individuals and industry, he lists Freemasonry, Rugby and socialising amongst his hobbies.
