The Current Officers of a Lodge are split up in to different Groups, the first of these being the Progressive Officers, second, the Administrative Officers, third the Ceremonial Officers, fourth the Appointed Officers and finally the ‘Unofficial Support Group’ of Officers. Progressive Officers are those who wish to progress to the Masters Chair, Administrative Officers are those that administer the Lodge affairs, Ceremonial Officers are those that are responsible for the Ceremonial of the Lodge and to guide and advise the brethren on Ceremonial matters, Appointed Officers are those who are appointed by the Worshipful Master to give reports to the Lodge about specific matters that are outside of the Lodge business and the Support Officers are those who can be involved in all matters where one or more of the members requires specific support, usually about advising on Membership, other orders and welfare.
