The appointed roles are strictly speaking not Officers of the Lodge because, they do not have an 0fficial Collar and Jewel. They are appointed at the Installation Meeting by the incoming Worshipful Master. They are just as important as the ‘official’ Officers of the Lodge in that they make representations to the Lodge on behalf the Holy Royal Arch Chapter, the Library and Museum of Kent Freemasonry and on potential Candidates for Membership who have enquired about joining Freemasonry through various different channels.
