Inner Guard
The Inner Guard is placed at the inside entrance of a Lodge, when the Lodge is open for Masonic business. His duty is to ensure that any person who is not duly qualified to enter the Lodge when it is open, is kept from doing so.
This is the first of the ‘Progressive’ Offices.
Brother Jason Wilton currently occupies the Office of Inner Guard.
I was initiated in to Freemasonry in 2017., Septem Lodge being my Mother Lodge. I was approached by my Father-in-Law who at the time was the WM of the Lodge. I had previous interests in Freemasonry as my late Father was also a Freemason belonging to a Lodge in Deal. I enjoy the social side and camaraderie we have within our lodge along with raising money for Local and National charities.
